1. Don't hire your friend or relative for photographing your wedding. Even if they have a good professional camera, but don't work as a photographer. He or she isn't able to know everything about the art of composition and posing, colour and angle, light and shadow, how to use settings on their camera and flash. And of couse about posterior colour corection and photo processing. It's required to work outside on locations in any weather, inside a church and on a reception, where poor light or electric light are the most common problems.

2. Don't hire an amateur wedding photographer who doesn't have a portfolio. Wedding photography is one of the most difficult areas. This type of photography include portrait, photojornalist, pose, stage and group photography.

3. Don't hire a photographer who doesn't have a portfolio of wedding photos, who has never worked as a wedding photographer, even if he or she is a professional in other areas. There are a lot of special features in every type of photography. Every type of photography requires special gear and knowledge.

4. Don't hire a person who is a photographer and a videographer at the same time. Both of these professions require skills, practice and time. A wedding photographer should tell a story through pictures, but not to show you some parts of your wedding on a video and some parts on photos.

5. Having good professional photos you can order a coffee table wedding book at any moment sutable for you. If you have only amateur photos, photo or design studios won't be able to make a high quality wedding book for you.

In conclusion

After a wedding day you will keep only your memories and photographs, which will remind you about your feelings and emotions of the wedding day. Wedding shots are a part of your love.
