Aquilo, the North Wind of Greek legend, heralds change, good tidings and exciting new beginnings. Aquilo String Quartet is a group of experienced professional musicians from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music that specializes in weddings and corporate functions of any size. We play from a wide range of music and have a vibrant and inspired approach to all of our performances. Moreover, we are sensitive to our clients’ need and are adept at creating the right atmosphere to suit any event. When you book Aquilo you can rest assured that you are hiring a professional and reliable group that can tailor music to suit your occasion beautifully. Our quartet musicians have studied with some of the world’s leading musical groups including the Tokyo String Quartet and the Peterson String Quartet. In 2005 Aquilo was selected to attend the International Music Academy held in the Czech Republic. In addition, we have performed many concerts in Sydney and have regular regional engagements.
