My name is Kim Lucas and I am an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. Congratulations on your upcoming celebration. I am a professional yet easy going young woman who would be genuinely excited and totally committed to making your wedding ceremony meet your expectations and I strongly welcome the involvement of children, family and friends.I take sincere pleasure in hearing people’s stories and discussing their dreams and goals for themselves individually and as a couple. It is the time spent talking with individuals which ultimately results in the creation of a masterful ceremony.

I have been a practicing Social Worker since 1997 and I live on the Gold Coast with my husband and three adorable children. After being involved in the planning of our wedding and later the dedication ceremony for my children, I decided to complete the studies required to become an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. I adore festivities and relish in the planning of events so as to make them unique and memorable for all involved.

It is your special day and it is my role to ensure the ceremony is designed your way. It can be formal, informal, religious or themed and can take place in any location of your choosing.
